What are your thoughts on how we should address this problem?

Hello Everyone!

I have just begun another paper for my Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Education, endorsed in Education titled “ICT and the Learning Process”. This course is offered through Wintec in NZ, and includes many great papers.

Last year I completed a research paper on “The critical success factors for the development of students’ online searching skills”. This was an investigative case study, which revealed many things, but mostly it showed that even though our students may be great with gaming and using ICT, when it came to searching online for specific information, they were very poor at this. Many tended to web-browse, rather than perform specific, key-word searches.

I would be interested in hearing about your experiences with students’ online searching skills.
